SPRINGFIELD – Zoraida Moctezuma, 55, passed away March 12, 2014. She was born on February 19, 1959 in Anasco, Puerto Rico to Venancio and Tomasa Babilonia.
She lived in Springfield for 50 years and worked for Digital Corporation. Zoraida was an extremely ambitious, kind, loving person who traveled around the world for Digital doing presentations on computer technology. She visited many foreign countries throughout Asia and San Francisco and Memphis in the United States.
She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend to so many. She gave unconditional love to all who came in contact with her. Her presence will be forever missed. Predeceased by her father, she leaves her mother Tomasa Babilonia of Springfield; husband Julio Moctezuma of Springfield; a son Johnny Moctezuma and daughter-in-law Julie of West Springfield; a daughter Aileen Moctezuma of Springfield; two sisters: Rosa and Carlos Rivera of Springfield and Rosario and Miguel Garcia of Charlemont; grandchildren: Kyanna Moctezuma, John Moctezuma Jr., Nanya Kue and Laylue Kue and many other family members.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM with a service at 12:30 PM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA. Visit
