Chicopee – William F. Savard, 72, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017.
He was born in Holyoke on October 26, 1944, a son of the late Leo and Celeste (Shepard) Savard.
He attended local schools and served his country in the U S Marine Corps.
He is survived by his brothers, David and his companion Marie Tedder, and Gary, both of West Hatfield, and his sister Diane Panousis of Georgia.
Committal services with military honors will be held at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Agawam on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 9am. New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC, 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA is assisting the family. Visit www.nefcc.net
