William was born on December 1, 1958 in Arlington, MA and passed away on January 28, 2021 in Springfield, MA.
He grew up in Lexington, MA, enjoyed sports, acting, music and spent summers working on Cape Cod at The Lighthouse Inn as a server and bartender.
He earned a BS in Political Science at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.
William suffered a traumatic brain injury in an accident at the end of his senior year in college and had several medical issues afterward. Edward Zuckerman had been William’s guardian angel for the past 21 years. He works for the MRC Statewide Head Injury Program (SHIP) and has always looked out for William’s best interests.
William will be buried next to his parents, Evelyn A. Higley and George A. Higley in Auburn, MA.
He is survived by his brother Donald and his wife Amy and two nephews Brock and Bohdan.
