Born in SC on May 30, 1925 to the late Dink and Verder Arnold, he was a US Army veteran of WWII. He was the owner of several private aircraft, a foreman for the DPW and an auto mechanic at Arnold’s Automotive.
Predeceased by his wife Nannie (Jenkins) Arnold, he leaves his son William P. Arnold, Jr., siblings Sam, Gladys and Mary Sue and grandchildren Tina Smith, William P. Arnold III, Laura Rita and Michael Arnold.
The funeral will be 12:30 PM April 4, 2017 at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC, 25 Mill Street, Springfield with burial in the MA Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery. www.nefcc.net
