Virginia M. Roberge

Springfield—Virginia M. Roberge, 59, died Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born on March 18, 1951 in Worcester, MA to Joseph R. and Ruth A. (Lundblad) Siemietkowski and had lived in Springfield for 20 years, previously living in Westminster, VT. She had been employed as a nurse’s aide for many years at the Beechaven Nursing Home. In her leisure time she enjoyed crocheting and bowling. She and her husband, Leo H. Roberge III, were married 37 years and had one son, Jamie L. Roberge, also of Springfield. She was pre-deceased by her father and her sister, Angela Arduini. She leaves her loving husband, son and her mother, Ruth A. Arduini; brothers: Joseph Simo and Stephen Siemietkowski of MA, and Richard Siemietkowski of OR; her sisters: Tina Bergevin of Worcester, MA and Marie Arduini of Oneonta, NY and her grandson, August R. Roberge. A Memorial Mass will be offered at 11 A.M. on Monday, January 17 at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Leominster, MA.
