Virgil T. Britt

AGAWAM-Virgil T. Britt, 72, died February 8, 2013 in Springfield, MA. Born on April 3, 1940 in Tallassee, AL to the late Oscar and Luzeal (Boles) Britt, he had worked in the textile industry his entire life serving as plant manager of the Glen Raven Mills in Anderson, SC and Keystone Weaving Mills in York, PA. He proudly served his country in the US Army Reserves and was a member of Rotary Club of Tallassee, AL. Predeceased by his parents and three brothers: Sonny Britt, Fred Britt and Robert Britt, he leaves his wife of 52 years, Sarah (Pimental) Britt of Agawam, MA; children Travis Britt (Victoria) of Granville, MA, Laurie Price (Randall) of AL, Stephanie Britt of Agawam, MA and Amy Beltrandi (Michael) of South Hadley, MA; sister, Jean Henderson of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren: Brandon Bousquet of MA, Leeann Tooke (William), Jessica McGhee (Jake), David Price (Pam) ; great grandchildren, Jake McGhee and Dylan Price all of AL.
