Vanessa M. Walter

SPRINGFIELD - Vanessa M. Walter, 37, died unexpectedly on December 8, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT. Born on October 23, 1974 in Springfield, MA, she was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Roger L. Putnam Vocational Technical High School, Class of 1994, where she studied Culinary Arts. Her hobbies included basketball, swimming and cooking. She was a member of Lighthouse Church of God in Christ. She leaves her sons, Anthony and Shaquiel Spencer; her parents, John Alan Fox and Elaine Walter-Fox of Springfield, MA; her brother, Timothy Walter and his wife, Latessia of Tucson, AZ; her sister, Teresa Walter and her husband, Isiah of Charlotte, NC and many other family members.
New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA 01108 is assisting the family. The funeral will be held at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 10:30AM, with burial to follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
