SPRINGFIELD- Timothy D. Knighton, 30, died tragically on August 7, 2010. A lifelong resident, he owned and operated Strait Way Cuts and was a member of the Strait Way to Heaven Church of God in Christ. Mr. Knighton loved basketball and fashion. Predeceased by his mother, Sandra Knighton, and his uncle, William Crawford, he is survived by his father, Percy of GA; former wife, Jennifer Brown; sons, Quantaveis and Zephaniah Knighton of Springfield, MA ; daughter, Zyiasia Knighton of Springfield, MA; step-daughter, Selena Toro-Brown of Springfield, MA; brothers: Kelvin and Percy Jr. Crawford of GA, Christopher Knighton of Springfield, MA and Jimmy Delgado of GA; sisters: Natasha Thornton of GA, Deborah Knighton of GA and Tanya Knighton of Springfield, MA; aunts: Mary Clark of GA, Dorothy Taylor of GA, Annie Gambles of MA, Daisy Simpson of GA, Annie Lois Crawford of GA, Denise Holmes of MA, Caroline Knighton, of GA and Eloise Stokes of GA; uncles: Joseph and Johnny Crawford of GA, John Holmes of MA, Aaron Crawford of GA, and Patrick Knighton of GA; a host of family and friends and his closest friend and business partner, Rudy Bowden, who was like a brother. The viewing will be held on Friday August 20, 2010 from 10:00-11:30 AM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill Street, Springfield with the funeral at 11:30 AM.
