LUDLOW—Thomas Owen Noel, 51, died on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 in West Springfield, Ma. He was the husband of Rebecca (Ruby) Noel. He leaves his wife and his children: his son, Johnathon and daughter, Deanna Martin –Noel of West Springfield, MA; his brother: Owen Charles Noel II and his wife, Tina of Westfield, MA ; his sisters: Rebecca Noel of Springfield, MA, Debra Noel and Donna Noel of Chicopee, MA and Carole Noel of West Springfield, MA; several nieces and nephews; his mother-in-law: Barbara (Ruby) Switzer of Westfield, MA; his best friend: Gringo; David Pond who was a real close father- figure to him and who had been there for him through everything; the children he called his in his heart; his 2nd ma-ma Bear; and his mentor: Steve Hall who made it possible for him to go bowling and fishing, which meant the world to him. He was pre-deceased by his grandparents, parents, Elaine (Boussy) and Owen Charles Noel and a brother and sister who died at birth. He had been employed as a landscaper for many years. His all time favorite things to do were playing video games, landscaping, fishing and bowling. His favorite television shows were Star Trek, wrestling and New England Patriot games. He also enjoyed going fishing with Mikey and Orlando who were like sons to him. He had just started introducing fishing to his own son, Johnathon. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
