SPRINGFIELD – Thomas Walter, Jr., 70, passed away on March 15, 2019.
Born in Springfield, MA on January 25, 1949 to Thomas and Leona (Baccus) Walter, he was self-employed as a plumber. Pre-deceased by his parents, his wife Sylvia (Hallums) Walter, and his brother Johnny Walter, he leaves his son Lance Walter and his wife Phaedra of Sacramento, CA; his daughter Tamika Walter of Springfield; his sisters: Thelma Goodall (Gil) of NJ, Debra Coffman of Springfield, Alice Walter and Laura Walter of Ludlow; and grandchildren: Lajier Walter-Daniels, Tziah Daniels and Justice Clemons.
The funeral for Mr. Walter will be on Saturday, March 23, 2019 beginning with viewing from 10-11 AM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC, 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA followed by a service at 11 AM. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Please visit www.nefcc.net .
