Ludlow – Mrs. Stella S. (Shevchuk) Masiuk, 93, wife of the late John Masiuk, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Worcester on January 23, 1925, a daughter of the late George and Sophie (Meniuk) Shevchuk.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she will be deeply missed by her loving family, her daughters: Stephanie Villines and her husband Bobby of CA, Mary Ann Jorge of Indian Orchard and Christine Silva and her husband Michael of Ludlow. She also leaves seven grandchildren: Tricia Pickren and her husband Cody, Michael and Jesse Villines, Jonathan and Jennifer Jorge, Nicholas and his fiancée Katherine Isabelle and Heather Silva and two great grandchildren Karlie Silva and Lucien Pickren.
The funeral for Stella will be held at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC , 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA at 8:30 am on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 followed by a mass at Sts. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church in Springfield at 10:00 am. Burial will be in Island Pond Cemetery, Ludlow. The wake will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 pm.
