AGAWAM - Stanley A. Dyl, 76, passed away on October 4, 2014 at his home with his loving partner, Rosemary at his side. Born and raised in Chicopee, he moved to Agawam in 2005. He proudly served his country in the United States Army National Guard. A longtime employee of Moore Drop Forge, he later was a department head at Macy’s in the luggage department, from which he retired.
Predeceased by his parents, John and Helen (Banas) Dyl and his brother Frank, he leaves his loving partner, Rosemary Levesque of Agawam; daughter, Nancy Lynes and her husband, Jeff of Windsor, CT; brother, John Dyl and his wife, Irene of Palmer and grandchildren Bradley Lynes, Alyssa Bowman, Nina Kriz, Caitlin, Michael, and Alec Fortier and great grandchildren, Nicholas Kriz, Adalyn Clark and Elizabeth Kriz.
The Funeral for Mr. Dyl will be on October 10, 2014. The calling hour will be at 9:30-10:30AM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill Street Springfield, MA proceeding to St. Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan St., Chicopee, MA for a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:30AM. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Chicopee, MA.
