Chicopee--Shirley Ann Sibley Lynch, 68, of Chicopee, MA died suddenly on July 16, 2012 in Holyoke Medical Center. Born in Ludlow, MA on November 19, 1943 to Harry and Katherine (Jaciow) Sibley, she worked as a cab driver for City Cab for several years. She was a communicant of the Basilica of St. Stanislaus in Chiopee. She wss a very creative person whose interests and hobbies included oil painting, reupholstering, sewing, knitting, gardening, fishing, boating and playing bingo. Predeceased by her father, son Thomas Lynch and sister, Mary-Jane Sibley, she leaves her mother, Katherine Lacasse of Springfield; her four daughters: Lisa Anne Lynch of Holyoke, MA, Mary-Jane Vogel and her husband, Donald of Springfield, MA, Maureen Lynch of the Bondsville section of Palmer, MA and Sherry Lynch of Chicopee, MA; her brother, Peter Sibley of Springfield, MA; five grandchildren: Dominic, Carter, Jessica, Erik and Brandy and one great-grandchild, Gabriel. The funeral for Ms. Sibley Lynch will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 9:45 AM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC, 25 Mill Street Springfield, MA with a Liturgy of Christian Burial to follow at the Basilica of St. Stanislaus at 11:00 AM.
