Shirley H. Labonte

Springfield – Shirley H. LaBonte, 80, died Thursday, December 29, 2011. Born in New York City, Shirley was a Springfield resident for since 1943. She was employed as a teacher in Reading, Ma and later at the High School of Commerce. Shirley was an active member of the Faith United Church, UCC, the Garden Club of Springfield and the College Club of Springfield. She leaves her husband, Walter O. LaBonte Sr.; three sons: Walter O. LaBonte Jr. (Rosanna) of Sherborn, MA, Warren T. LaBonte (Lisa) of Bradenton, Fl and Lawrence C. LaBonte of Darien, CT and three granddaughters: Katherine, Bonnie and Peri. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the Faith United Church, 52 Sumner Avenue, Springfield.
