Sherry Lynn Sickler, 77, of Granby, Massachusetts, passed away at home peacefully on October 4th, 2026, surrounded by the love of family and friends. Sherry was born on April 6, 1949, in Springfield, Massachusetts. She earned two Bachelors of Science at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and went on to pursue an ambitious and successful 30-year career with the Veterans Administration in Northampton, Massachusetts. She was a loving and dedicated mother to her beloved daughter, Lillian Sickler, that she adopted as a single parent from China in 1997. In addition, Sherry was a well-established member of her community, serving as a member of the Missions Committee at her local church in Granby. She was also a familiar and positive presence at Dufresne Park where she walked her loyal dog, Reno, every morning, often besides her treasured fellow dog lovers.

Sherry will be remembered for her upbeat humor, rockin' pool parties, love of live music, and never-ending generosity. She will be deeply missed by all the lives she touched. There will be a service held on October 24th, 2026 at 12pm at the UCC Church in Granby, Massachusetts. Following the service, there will be a celebration at the Sickler's Residence down the road (AKA Sherrystock 2.0).
