Sheila Brennan Tipton

Longmeadow- Sheila Brennan Tipton, 78, died at Mercy Medical Center on June 18, 2010. Born in Ludlow, MA she was a retired clerk for the city of Springfield. She is predeceased by her parents, James and Margaret (McGuiness) Brennan, and nine siblings. She devoted her life to her family. She is survived by five daughters: Sheila Rathbun and her husband, Jeffrey, of East Longmeadow, Beth Cordero and her husband, Tony, of Springfield, Faith Leahy and her husband, Michael, of East Longmeadow, Mary Grey and her husband, Donald, of Chicopee and Maureen Tipton of East Longmeadow; grandchildren: Terrence, Timothy, John, Paul, Maryanne and Kimberly; and a great grandchild, Natalie. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 22 beginning at 9 a.m. from New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at Holy Name Church, 323 Dickinson Street, Springfield at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
