West Springfield - Shane Michael Wetnicka, 47, passed away suddenly on July 18, 2023. He was born in Ware, MA on July 9, 1976, the son of Karen A. Frazier Davis of West Brookfield, MA and the late Michael J. Wetnicka. He was previously employed as a pool installer for Ideal Pools of Southbridge, MA and was a New England Patriots fan, who loved spending time with his family, loved his music and playing his guitar. In his youth he used to play soccer and baseball and enjoyed family vacations in Wells, ME. Shane will be remembered as a fun-loving guy and a jokester with a wicked sense of humor and will be sadly missed. He is survived by his beloved wife Kimberly (Houle) Wetnicka, (they were married on April 1, 2017) his daughter Jocelyn Wetnicka, stepsons: Daniel Houle and Tyler Belisle and sister Nicole Croteau and her husband Jeff. He also leaves his granddaughter, Tessa Wetnicka and a future grandson on the way, grandmothers: Mary Lou Wetnicka and Patricia Frazier, aunts, uncles and cousins. Sadly, he was predeceased by his daughter Alyssa Wetnicka in 2019 and his grandfather Kenneth Frazier whom he admired and idolized. A celebration of life for Shane will be held at a later date.
