Selinda "Lynn" Marie Smith (Sabadosa) age 60 of Chicopee passed away on September 14th 2026 surrounded by the family she devoted her entire life to.

She will be remembered for the selfless way she moved through life, placing the comfort and happiness of others ahead of herself every day. She was a nurturer whose empathy and generosity were felt deeply by those fortunate enough to know her. With an open door and a steady presence, she offered a welcome, reassuring space where people felt cared for and deeply valued.

She was a loyal friend, whose kindness was consistent and genuine. She found joy in seeing the people she loved succeed, and expressed that joy in practical, loving ways. She delighted in feeding others with fabulous dishes, creating a table where people could gather, eat well, and feel at ease. She created a home with warmth of shared time, and her pool was a treasured place where she allowed others to relax and enjoy themselves.

She enjoyed playing Scrabble and Cribbage, a simple pleasure that reflected her love of shared moments and friendly connection. Her beloved pugs and puggles were a large part of her life treating them as family members. She hosted all holidays, turning them into happy occasions where her loved ones gathered. These were ordinary moments that carried her warmth and attention and they are part of the lasting memory she leaves behind. Her memory will live on in the lives she touched, meals shared, conversations enjoyed, and the many quiet acts of love that defined her.
Lynn was predeceased by her father Richard "Sonny" Sabadosa, mother Sandra Labonte (Van Wert), brother Richard "Rocky" Sabadosa and nephew Joseph "Joey" Sabadosa. 

She will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 44 years Ralph Smith; son Jason Smith and his wife Michelle of Cameron, NC; daughters Jennifer Leahy of Chicopee, MA and Sara Smith and her fiancé Alexis Burgos of Enfield, CT; beloved grandchildren Alexander, Kaylee, Olivia and Rebekah Leahy and Alexios Burgos; sisters Sheila Manolarakis of Springfield, MA and her 3 sons; Shari King and her husband Robert King of Lyman, SC and her son; brother Michael Sabadosa and his partner Craig Woods of East Longmeadow, MA 

Until we meet again in Heaven, we all love you and will miss you deeply.
