Scott A. Dumont

PALMER – Scott A. Dumont, 54, passed away on January 14, 2017 at Baystate Wing Hospital.A resident of the Three Rivers section of Palmer, MA, he was born on August 6, 1962 in Malone, NY to Carl and Beverly (Beltizard) Dumont. He was employed as an Auction Manager at Winter Garden Auction Service in Monson. He leaves his loving wife Virginia (Barton) Dumont; sons Leon Pierce IV of Great Barrington and John Pierce (Jennifer) of Granby; brothers Michael and Steven Dumont; sisters Barbara Befford and Alaine Dumont; granddaughter Riley; sisters-in-law Jolene Mason and Laurie Barton and many friends. He also leaves his loving canine companion, Ellsworth. A celebration of Scott's life will be held on January 21, 2017 at New England Funeral & Cremation Center LLC, 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA beginning with visitation at 10 AM, reflections at 11:30 AM and a service to follow.
