Sare Heatley

SPRINGFIELD-Sare Heatley, 77, died on June 21, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Queens, NY on November 7, 1934 to the late Silas and Ellen (Cotton) Heatley, he served his country in the US Air Force during the Viet Nam War. He worked in Food Service at American International College and for a period of time was a cook for the Boys Scouts of America. He was a fan of all New York sports teams. He leaves his wife, Carmen Rosario, sons Kenneth, Aaron and Angel Heatley and Angel Rosario, all of Springfield, MA , Sonny Heatley of CT and Jose Rosario of NH ; daughters Edith, Karen, Sheryl, Siara and Chantel Heatley and Shanealia Jernigan of Springfield, MA ; grandchildren Naishan Goldsberry and Medalia Heatley and many more grandchildren and great grandchildren. The funeral for Mr. Heatley will be on Thursday, June 28, 2012 assembling at 11:00 AM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill St., Springfield, MA 01108. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 PM.
