She attended local schools and was employed as a phlebotomist for Baystate Health for many years. She leaves her siblings: Richard Blanchard (Debra) of Chicopee, Russell Blanchard (Debra), Bruce Blanchard, Tina Couture (Brian), Joanne Mann all of South Hadley and Sharon Tombs (David) of Florida.
