BRIMFIELD – Ruth E. Mason, 87, passed away at home on June 11, 2017.
She was born in Springfield, MA on September 20, 1929 to the late Ralph and Doris (Bancroft) Trombly. A longtime resident of Brimfield, MA, she worked as a home health caregiver and enjoyed gardening and crocheting. She leaves her husband of 44 years, John Mason, sons George Desmarais, Warren Mundell, John Mason and his wife Mary Jo all of Brimfield and Edward Desmarais of Belchertown, daughter Rose Bessette of Gilbertville, brother Gerald Trombly of Hadley, 17 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren on the way. Ruth is predeceased by her son, William Desmarais and a brother, William Trombly.
A memorial will be held at 2 PM on July 22, 2017 at 91 Doane Road, Ware, MA 01082.
