Ruth Jangrow

SPRINGFIELD – Ruth Jangrow, 85, passed away April 11, 2016 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born March 21, 1931 in Bryson City, NC to the late Oscar and Frances (Collins) Crowder. She was a self-employed nanny for many years.

Predeceased by her husband Robert Jangrow and several siblings, she leaves her sons Jimmy Ray Extine (Linda), Keith Ewing (Suzanne) and Jack McNally of TN and Thomas Extine of Longmeadow, MA; daughters Mary Thompson (Richard Sr.) of TN and Carolyn McNally of Springfield, MA; sisters Polly Ann Taylor (Hansel), Willie Faye Guertin, and Annie Kirkland; brother Jack Crowder and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her son Joseph McNally who died on September 5, 2015.

Burial will take place in the family plot in North Carolina. New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill Street, Springfield has been entrusted with arrangements. Visit www.nefcc.net
