Rufino C. Ducler Jr.

CHICOPEE-Rufino C. Ducler, Jr. 46, died February 27, 2011 at his home in Chicopee, MA. He was born on March 21, 1964 in Oxnard, CA to Rufino and Theresa (Maleko) Ducler. A Chicopee resident for fourteen years, he had worked in construction for Birnie Contractors. He was a great son who loved his mother, a loving father to his three sons and a proud grandfather to his only grandson, Karson. Rufino was a tough guy on the outside with a sweet loving heart. A great friend to many, he was always willing to lend a helping hand and he put the needs of others before his own. Predeceased by his father, Rufino Ducler, he is survived by his mother, Theresa Ducler, of Los Angeles, CA; the mother of his children, Tracy Pearson; sons: Arthur, Robert and Aaron Ducler all of Chicopee, MA; brother, Arthur Ducler, of Holyoke, MA; sisters: Rosie and Suzanne Ducler, of Los Angeles, CA; grandson, Karson Ducler; cousin, Chris Maleko, and his wife, Vicky, of Chicopee, MA and many other family members and friends. The wake will be held on Friday, March 4, 2011 from 5:30 - 8:00 PM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA. Family and friends are asked to meet on Saturday, March 5, 2011 for a 10:00 AM service at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 376 Maple St. Springfield, MA. He will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery, Chicopee, MA. The family has entrusted New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC with the arrangements.
