Ronson A. Sherman

September 9, 1940 — March 20, 2015

WEST SPRINGFIELD – Ronson A. Sherman, 74, passed away March, 20, 2015 at Vibra Hospital of Western Massachusetts. A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, he belonged to the Marine Corps League and served in the firing party at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Sherman was an avid pool player and card player and was involved in the Agawam Senior Center and West Springfield Senior Center.

He leaves his wife Carol (Olds) Sherman of West Springfield and siblings Richard Dugas (Elizabeth), William Whitney, Wendy Kinney and Cathy Benner.

The funeral will be held on March 26, 2015 at 11:45 AM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA with visitation from 10 AM until the time of service. Burial with military honors will follow in the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The Davis Heart and Vascular Program c/o Baystate Health Foundation, 280 Chestnut Street Springfield, MA 01199.
