Springfield - Ronald L. Labrie, Sr. passed away in Springfield on August 12. He was 87 years old. Born in Springfield on October 26, 1938 he was one of five children born to the late Leon and Anna (Harding) Labrie. He lived most of his life in Springfield, but lived in Hinsdale, NH and Brattleboro, VT briefly in the '80s and '90s. He was employed by the City of Springfield and worked for many years as an Auxiliary Police Officer and Street Sweeper.

Ronald was the Head of the 910 Union. He was an avid trading card collector. He loved flea markets and would often have a table to sell things he'd picked up, but would also wander to other vendors tables, sometimes buying as much as he sold.

In addition to his parents, Ronal was predeceased by his wife Marlene, son Mark Labrie and daughter Michelle Hamel; brother Buddy, and sisters Bonnie, Leona, and June. He will be lovingly remembered by his son Ron, Jr and daughter Robin Consiglio, both of Springfield; grandchildren Brian Brandi, Christopher, Ashley, Danielle, Tiffany, Robin, and many more Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren and his sister Carol DeGray and niece Kathy Perez of Chicopee.

There will be no public services.
