Ronald S. Chmielewski

Springfield – Ronald S. Chmielewski, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022. Ron was born in Providence, Rhode Island on March 17, 1939, the son of the late Ignace W. and Stephanie C. (Razukiewicz) Chmielewski.
He had a love for hunting, spending time with his dogs, and gardening. He welcomed conversation and was always willing to teach you what he knew. He had a passionate drive for what meant the most to him in life. His whole heart was filled with love for his family, close friends, and his dogs. His unfaltering belief in God got him through the hardest of times and he spread his faith with those in need. He was a man of his word.
Ron was preceded in death by his late wife, Pauline A. Chmielewski, brother, Edmund M. Chmielewski, sister, Angela M. Kennedy, and grandson, Christopher J. Chmielewski. He is survived by his children, Michael Chmielewski, Patricia Coyle, Debra Chmielewski, and Stephen and Kerri Chmielewski, grandchildren, Tiffani, Joshua, Sarah, Anthony, and Nathan, great granddaughter, Cianna, his sister Stephanie Francis and husband, Mark, and nieces Kim McCann, Kari Laughran, and Laura Kennedy.
His words of wisdom will be remembered by all who knew him.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michaels Church, 128 Maple St., East Longmeadow, MA on November 12, 2022, at 10:00am.
A celebration of life will follow at 12:00pm at the Ludlow Fish and Game Club, 200 Sportsmen’s Rd., Ludlow, MA.
