Robin K.F. Glasgow

Springfield--Robin KayAnne Glasgow arrived on life's stage on May 13, 1970. She exited stage left after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. Robin was the daughter of Robert and Katie (Longwood) Glasgow. She was educated at Enfield Montessori and the Longmeadow School System. Robin attended Western New England College and Bay Path College. She lived in Springfield and Longmeadow. She took delight at her jobs at Baystate Medical Center and Pioneer Spine and Sports. She had a wonderful support system at both work places. We are so grateful to all friends, nurses and doctors. Robin was a member of the First Church of Christ in Longmeadow, U.C.C. Her passion was shopping, closely followed by traveling. Cruises, train travel, car, she loved it all. Robin was a warm and loving woman who adored her niece and nephew, Eva and Ezra Glasgow. It was her desire to see them grow up. Robin leaves her parents, Katie and Robert Glasgow; brothers, Robert B. of Rowlette, Texas and Rayford E. (his wife Carolyn) of Scarborough, Ontario; uncles, Benjamin R. Longwood (his wife Roberta) and Joseph Glasgow III (his wife Doris Hebert) and an infectious smile to be remembered by all. Many loving cousins remain to mourn her. Visitation will be on Monday, September 17, 2012 from 6:00-8:00PM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC, 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA. The funeral will be on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 beginning at 10:00AM with a service at 11:00AM. Private burial will follow in Springfield Cemetery.
