SPRINGFIELD – Robert L. Streeter, 61, died on February 12, 2015 at Baystate Medical Center. Born on August 23, 1953 to Lester and Joyce (Porter) Streeter, he worked as a machinist at American Saw and was a Springfield resident for 60 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Predeceased by his father, he leaves his mother Joyce Streeter of CT, brother, Mark Streeter of East Longmeadow, niece Julie Ryan and her husband Chris and nephews Matthew and Joseph Streeter.
Funeral services will be held beginning at 8:30 AM on February 24, 2015 at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA proceeding to the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery for a service with military honors at 10 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
