GREAT BARRINGTON-Robert D. Schnabel, 60, died July 12, 2012 in Springfield, MA. Born in Bethel, CT to the late William and Carolyn (Allen) Schnabel, he majored in Psychology and Child Development at Western Connecticut University and had a career in child development at New Milford CT Community Center Services. He leaves his life partner, Margaret Jones, family, Jean Courtney, his colleague and dear friend, Maud MacArthur and his beloved cats, Angel and Kissey. Burial will be in CT at a later date.
