Robert Thomas Gosselin

Robert Thomas Gosselin of Agawam, Massachusetts, a beloved father, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away on September 6, 2025, at the age of 75.

Born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, on November 15, 1949, he was the son of the late Russell J. Gosselin and Michaeline A. (Lonczak) Gosselin. Robert proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps, a testament to his dedication and commitment to the nation. Following his military service, he worked at the United States Postal Service. Bob's passion, where he spent most of his free time, was playing golf in the Post Office League, and with family and friends.

He is survived by his children: Derek T. Gosselin and his wife Kelly of East Longmeadow, MA, and Sheila M. Forgue and her husband Jonathan of Agawam, MA. Robert was a grandfather to Evan Forgue, Jackson Forgue, and Cooper Forgue who brought immense joy to his life. He is also survived by his siblings: his brother Russell Gosselin and former wife Patricia, his sister Cynthia Hebert and her husband Brian, his sister Janice Hebert and her husband Daniel, his brother Glenn Gosselin and his wife Colleen, and many nieces and nephews.

A private family service will be held in his honor at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Agawam, MA.
