EAST LONGMEADOW – Rita M. Moyer, 99, passed away on July 24, 2016 at Wingate of East Longmeadow. She was born in Westfield on May 3, 1917 to the late George and Floreda (St. Pierre) Bean.
Predeceased by her husband Francis E. Moyer and 10 siblings, she leaves her son Edward Moyer (Paula) of NY; daughter Carolyn Curpenski of Springfield; grandchildren Donna Stevens (Andy), Richard Curpenski (Lynn), Scott Moyer (Kim) and Jennifer Schwab (Matt) and 7 great-grandchildren. The family extends a special thank you to all the caregivers in Section B at Wingate at East Longmeadow.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wingate at East Longmeadow. Private funeral services will be held on July 29, 2016 at 10 AM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill Street, Springfield with visitation from 9 AM until the time of the service.
