Rita J “Skippy” (Bourque) LaMagdelaine,93, of Holyoke, MA passed away peacefully on April 3, 2020.
Rita was born on January 20, 1927 in South Hadley, MA.
Her passions were music, pictures, jewelry and the love of the New England Patriots. Her smile and laughter would light up a room.
She was predeceased by her husband Romeo E. LaMagdelaine. She is survived by her son Edward “Butch” LaMagdelaine and his wife Ellen and her daughter Karen (LaMagdelaine) Walsh and her husband Keith; four grandchildren and two great-granddaughters, whom she loved so much. We would like to thank the nurses and aides who took such good care of our Mom for many years at Wingate/Vero Rehab in Wilbraham.
In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the charity of your choice.
When the public health crisis has subsided she and her husband will be laid to rest at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery at a date to be announced.
