Richard F. Gilsinger, 82, of Springfield, Massachusetts passed away on June 7, 2021.
Born in Logansport, Indiana on April 2, 1939 to Francis and Beulah (Harris) Gilsinger, he was a communicant of Saint Patrick’s Church and had retired as a Ford Parts Manager for Ford Motor Company. He enjoyed woodworking and furniture making. He was a devoted care-giver of his beloved wife, Virginia (Riel) Gilsinger who passed on April 6, 2019. He was a United States Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War. Survivors include his son Michael Gilsinger and his wife Krystal of Springfield and his grandchildren Richard and Nicholas Gilsinger and step-grandchildren Joshua and Stephanie Ouellette.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 14, 2021 from 12:30-1:45PM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC, 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA with a service at 1:45PM.
