Springfield-Raymond J. Thibault, 73, died August 4, 2009 in Agawam. Born in St. Raphael, Canada to the late Paul and Jeannette (Bernard) Thibault, he had lived in Springfield since 1959 coming from Canada. Raymond served in the US Army and had worked as a carpenter framer for J.C. Lussier and N.G. Godbout Construction Companies. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife and a brother, Roland Thibault.
He leaves four brothers: Robert Thibault and his wife, Olga, of FL and Pierre Thibault and his wife, Carole, Denis Thibault and Yvon Thibault, all of Canada; four sisters: Pauline Godbout and her husband, Norman, of Holyoke and Diane Garant and her husband, Bruno, Lissette Raby and her husband, Marcel, and Francine Thibault and her husband, Claude, all of Canada, and many other family members.
The funeral services will be held in Canada. New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC is entrusted with local arrangements
