SPRINGFIELD-Raymond D. Mack Jr, 63, departed this life on March 8, 2011. Raymond was born on December 8, 1947 in Switchback, WV to the late Raymond D. Sr. and Virginia (Winbush) Mack and had lived in Springfield since 1988, coming from Far Rockaway, NY. He was employed by Goodwill Industries as a Rehabilitation Counselor. A life-long Master Mason in Brooklyn, NY, Raymond’s other interests included a love for fishing, sports, (especially football), listening to music and family barbecuing. Predeceased by his brothers, Harold and Randolph Mack and his sister, Shirley Ross, he leaves his wife, Debra (Neal) Mack, of Springfield, MA; his sister, Cynthia Mack-Stringer, of Syracuse, NY; sons: Benny Quetell, of Springfield, MA, Travis Williams, of Brooklyn, NY, Anthony Mack, of Brockton, NY, Jemar Mack, Raymond Mack III and Tate Tetrault, all of Springfield, MA; daughters: Deondra Mack, of Queens, NY, Lakisha Wheeler, of Indian Trail, NC and Patrice Mack-Gayle, of Windsor Locks, CT; Cynthia Mack-Stringer, of Syracuse, NY; 26 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and many other family members. The funeral for Mr. Mack will be at 1pm on Monday, March 14, 2011 at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA. Visiting hours will be held from 11am to 1pm.
