Raymond William Couture

NASHUA, NH- Raymond William Couture, 68, of Nashua, NH died unexpectedly on March 12, 2012 at his home. Born on August 15, 1943 in Springfield, MA to the late Jerry and Ellen M. (Moir) Couture, he had worked for 26 years at the phone company. A veteran of the US Army, Raymond proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. In addition, he was a member of Marksmen Drum and Bugle Corps, the United States Army's premier musical organization - a proud tradition that begun with the musicians of the Continental Army and continues today. Predeceased by his parents, he leaves his beloved spouse and longtime companion, Brian Griffin of Boston, MA and Nashua, NH; son, Gregory Couture (Danielle) of Hanover, MA; daughter, Jillian Laing of Hanson, MA; sister, Mary Ann Henriques; brothers: Jerry Couture (Terry) and Donald Couture (Norma) of Ludlow, MA and four grandchildren. His funeral will be held on March 24, 2012 at 1:00 PM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill St., Springfield, MA with a visitation beginning at 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
