Raymond G. Burroughs, Jr.

East Longmeadow – Raymond G. Burroughs, Jr., 49, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Springfield on December 30, 1967, the son of Raymond G. Burroughs, Sr. and the late Ann (Learned) Burroughs. He attended local schools and was a building maintenance supervisor. Raymond was very family oriented and loved the great outdoors, enjoying hiking, biking, and fishing. In addition to his father he is also survived his stepmother Carmen Burroughs of East Longmeadow. He also leaves his daughter Taylor Burroughs of West Springfield; four sisters; Brenda Walker (Robert) of Springfield, Anita Thomas (Gary) of Westfield, Rebecca Quinlan (Dennis) of Holland, MA, and Marcella Burroughs of Springfield. He also leaves his former wife Carol Mickiewicz.Private visitation was held on May 16, 2017 from 10am to 11:30am with a service at 11:30am at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC, 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA.
