Ramona Ramirez

Springfield--Ramona Ramirez, 50, passed away at home on November 22, 2012. Born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico on July 26, 1961 to Jose Angel Ramirez and Maria Monserrate Ramos, she had lived ih Springfield, MA since June 2012, coming from Philadelphia, PA. She enjoyed listening to Spanish music and dancing. She will always be remembered as a woman who was very good to all her children, a very responsible person, and a very strong woman who fought hard for her health this past year. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Sonia Franchesca Gonzalez. She leaves her sons: Francisco, Oscar, Jonathan and Steven Gonzalez; her daughters: Denisett Padilla, Maria, Zuleyka, Solmaris, Gricheliz and Kinayshamar Gonzalez; four brothers and four sisters; 13 grandchildren and many other family members in Puerto Rico, Springfield, MA, Bronx, NY and Philadelphia, PA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 from 3:00-4:30 PM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC, 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA with a service to follow at 4:30 PM conducted by the Reverend Monsignor Juan F.
