Ralph P. Rose, 73, of Holyoke, Massachusetts, passed away on April 26, 2025. He was born in London, England, to the late Zena Rose on January 7, 1952, and moved to the area in 1980 from Bermuda, after meeting the love of his life, Eileen, there. Ralph had a lengthy career as a District Manager at Coffee Pause, followed by volunteering at both Westover Air Force Base and the Senior Center in Belchertown. Ralph had true passions for Tottenham Hotspur football, bagpipes, steak and kidney pie, corn dogs, and bringing smiles with his British accent with fun words like “bahhth” and “BEEN” and took an interest in genealogy to learn more about his birth family in England. His sense of humor driven by his witty sarcasm could light up a room. He lived his life to the best and fullest of his ability, never lost sight of his dreams and accomplished many of them. He was sadly predeceased by his beloved wife, Eileen (O’Farrell) Rose in 2013. Ralph is survived by his three sons: Douglas Rose of Maryland, David Rose and his wife Jennifer of Agawam, MA, and Derek Rose and his wife Erica and his two cherished grandchildren Jacob and Kylie Rose of Belchertown, MA. A period of visitation will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, from 12:00 - 1:30 at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA. A memorial service will follow in the Scattering Garden at Oak Grove Cemetery, 426 Bay Street, Springfield, MA. Please visit Ralph’s memorial page at
