Springfield – Philip E. Durant, 55, a lifelong Springfield resident, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018 at Baystate Wing Hospital in Palmer.
He was born in Springfield on August 10, 1962, a son of the late Arlene (Levensailor) Breahart and Harry Durant and his wife Betty of Feeding Hills.
He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed playing golf and going fishing with his father. He also loved dogs.
He is survived by two brothers, James Durant and his wife Karen of Leicester, Wesley Breahart of Indian Orchard, and his sister Gloria of Springfield, and several nieces & nephews. He also leaves step brothers and sisters, Keith, Richard, George, Christine & April. He will be missed by special friends, John Olier of Springfield, Dean Kuczynski of NY, and Debbie Rumanski of Palmer.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 6 -7pm at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC, 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA 01108. Please visit www.nefcc.net
