LUDLOW-Osman “Jimmy” Mislimoski, 59, died July 26, 2013 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. Born on July 2, 1954 in Kicevo, Yugoslavia to Akif and Nadzija (Lamoska) Mislimoski, he arrived in Chicago, IL on March 23, 1983 from Macedonia and worked as a waiter and house painter for many years. Known as “Yabby” to many, he would often frequent his favorite South End family owned businesses: Buckeyes Smoke Shop, Milanos, Santis and Mom & Ricos. He studied long and hard to reach his dream of becoming an American Citizen and on August 27, 2009 he became an American Citizen in a ceremony at Faneuil Hall in Boston, MA. Predeceased by his parents and two brothers, he leaves his wife, Gladys (Connor) Mislimoski of Ludlow, MA, son Elkan Mislimoski of Kicevo, Macadonia, daughter, Elhinda of Germany, step-son, Derrick Dunn of Tarpon Springs, FL, a sister in Macedonia and four grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 PM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill St., Springfield, MA.
