HOLYOKE - Oheia Naranjo – Parker, 94, passed away on January 8, 2017 in a local nursing home.
She was the wife of the late Leon Parker and was a twelve year Holyoke resident, coming from Springfield.
She was born in Johnson City, TN on January 30, 1922, a daughter of the late Bud and Lara (Tarter) Hale. She was an independent skilled artist who employed acrylics, oils and watercolors as her medium in the surrealism style. She leaned toward Picasso for her inspiration.
She is survived by her daughter, Leura Parker of Westfield and other family members. She was predeceased by one brother.
