SUFFIELD, CT-It is with great sorrow that we report the sudden passing of our father, Norman Tabachnick on December 30, 2012 at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT. Norman was born in Brooklyn, New York on February 9, 1943. He worked as a jewelry designer and resided in the metro New York area for most of his life before recently moving to Suffield, CT to begin his retirement. He had a love for nice clothes, music, fine dining, fancy cars and dogs. Anyone who knew Norman knew how much he loved telling a good story. His unique character and sense of humor will be missed by all. Predeceased by his parents, Jack and Sylvia (Breidbart) Tabachnick, he leaves his son, Matthew Tabachnick and his fiancée, Joy Torres of Brick, NJ, daughter, Kari DeMarinis and her husband, Frank of Montgomery, MA, brother, Walter Tabachnick of Vero Beach, FL and two grandchildren, Sierra and Jack DeMarinis.
