Norman G. Goulet

CHICOPEE-Norman G. Goulet, 55, died April 14, 2013. Born on May 10, 1957 in Holyoke, MA to the late Joseph E. and Lillian R. (Talbot) Goulet, he worked for Carlin Combustion in East Longmeadow, MA. Norman was a simple man, he loved Southern Classical Rock and spending time with his family. His children will fondly remember him as a dedicated father, always there for them and always punctual. He rebuilt his house from the cellar up, enjoyed keeping himself busy, and could often be heard saying that he did not know what he would do with his time once he finished his home reconstruction. While most people would cross off the days of the week on the calendar, Norman would always draw a happy face for each day. Predeceased by his parents and a brother, he leaves his son, Norman R. Goulet and his partner Danielle Holbert; daughters: Melissa A. Goulet and her partner Nicolas Costa and Mandy J. Goulet; brother, Michael P. Goulet; grandchildren, Kailey Goulet and Connor Minnie and many other family members and friends. The wake will be on Friday, April 19, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 PM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill St., Springfield, MA. The funeral services are April 24, 2013 at 8:15 AM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC proceeding to St. Rose de Lima Church for a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM with burial in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery.
