Norma H. Bosworth

A lifelong resident of Belchertown, Norma “Tissie” (Michalak) Bosworth passed away peacefully at home on September 25, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.

Before retiring, she worked as a home health aide and was loved by all of her clients. She took great pleasure in the simple things like sharing a hot cup of coffee and a slice of pie with a friend. She was also a fabulous treasure finder at countless tag sales throughout the years, and she loved spending time at the ocean with her grandchildren. A lover of all animals, Norma was an avid walker for many years who covered many miles all over town with her beloved dog Huskimo. She loved to read and she loved her local library. You could always find her with her nose in a good book and a cat curled up in her lap, most notably her beloved cat Henry. She was thoughtful, generous, and kind. She also had a great sense of humor and a laugh that was contagious.

She leaves her husband of forty-five years, Walter Bosworth of Belchertown; her son Mel and his wife Christy of Easthampton; daughter Tanya, and her husband Tom, and their children Ariana and Sawyer of West Warwick, Rhode Island. She also leaves sisters Donna and Sandy, brothers Bub, Buster, and Richie, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother Joe.


There will be no services.
