Springfield - Nancy J. Cox, 70, died on December 13, 2010 at home. Born in Lawton, OK on June 8, 1949 to the late John and Florence (Wynn) Dumas, she had lived here three years, coming from Florida. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church. She had been employed as a registered nurse in the operating room at hospitals in both Oklahoma and Florida. Pre-deceased by her husband, Fred D. Cox and her sister, Patsy Washburn, she leaves two sons and a daughter: Richard D. Cox and James D. Cox of Lawton, OK; and Debra J. Cox of Springfield, MA, and two grandchildren: Stacie and Michael Edwards of Port Orange, FL. Services are private.
