Nancy L. Chambers

RUSSELL-Nancy Chambers, 64, died August 5, 2011 at Noble Hospital in Westfield, Massachusetts. Born on December 29, 1946 to the late Murray and Isabell (Carline) LaPoint, she came to Russell 39 years ago, coming from Waddington, New York. Locally she was employed as a bartender at the VFW in Russell, Massachusetts. In her spare time Nancy enjoyed working crossword puzzles. Predeceased by her parents, she leaves her husband, Frederick D. Chambers of Russell, Massachusetts; her son, John Wayne Chambers, and his partner, Catherine Miller of Westfield, Massachusetts; her daughters: Christina Chambers and her partner, John Wassel of Connecticut, and Tiffany Henry, and her husband, Thomas of Russell, Massachusetts; her brothers: Jack LaPoint of New Jersey and Mark LaPoint and his wife, Denise of Tennessee; her sisters: Merribeth Sumper, Sally Whalen, Judith Exware, and her husband, Francis and Diane Miller all of New York; and her five grandchildren: Chelsea, Alyssa, Shelby, Ashley and Aindreaha. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 1:30 PM at the Montgomery Church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
