Maureen F. Sullivan

CHICOPEE - Maureen F. Sullivan, 84, passed away February 15, 2017 at Baystate Medical Center.
She was born in Springfield, MA, on July 16, 1932, to the late Timothy and Hannah (Foley) Sullivan of Liberty Street.
Maureen was a graduate of Cathedral High School, and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in 1952. She continued her education with a B.S. from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and resumed nursing at Memorial Hospital in Ardmore, Oklahoma until 1995. Maureen returned to the Springfield area to be among relatives and friends in 1999.
She will be sadly missed by her loving family including; Kim and Dieter Kalesnik - Bruns; her 4 sisters the (late) Margret Bernini, Anna Mara, Christine Lima and Kaye Johnson; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to niece Karen Johnson who was a mainstay of support. Maureen's family extends their gratitude to the doctors and nurses for the care they provided during Maureen's last days. Maureen will be cremated without ceremony.
