Hawley – Mary I. Parra, 81, died on February 4, 2010 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. She was born on June 7, 1928 in Goreville, Illinois to George and Bertha (Fulkerson) Smith. She leaves her husband Erasmus J. Parra of Hawley, MA and a sister. Mary was a self-employed fashion designer and a writer. She had been working on a children’s book up until the time of her death.
